The Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) tram system is a fast, free, and essential way to move between terminals and gate areas. With three automated lines-Green, Blue, and Red-these air-conditioned, wheelchair-accessible trams connect key parts of the airport 24/7, with departures every 2-7 minutes.
Tram Stations

- Green Line: Connects Terminal 1 to C Gates (used by airlines like Southwest and Spirit).
- Blue Line: Links Terminal 1 to D Gates (important for American Airlines, The Club LAS, and Admirals Club access).
- Red Line: Connects Terminal 3 (E Gates) to D Gates, ideal for international travelers on Flair or Avianca, heading to lounges like United Club or The Club LAS.
Location: All trams are airside (post-security). Follow “Tram to Gates” signs.
- Cost: Free; no boarding pass required for intra-terminal rides.
- Ride Time: 2-5 minutes depending on the line.
- Tips: Allow 10-15 minutes for transit plus walking. Confirm your gate and terminal on your boarding pass.
- They don’t serve baggage claim or the Rent-A-Car Center. Use designated airport shuttles from Terminal 1 (Doors 10-11) or Terminal 3 (Doors 51-58) for Budget, Avis, or other rentals.
- Liquor Library and Tumi Outlets are outside the tram system and require exiting security.
The tram saves time, especially if:
- You’re connecting from Terminal 3 to Terminal 1 flights (e.g., Flair to American Airlines).
- You’re headed to lounges like The Club LAS (D33) or United Club (D35) from E Gates.
- You want quick access to duty-free shops near E1/E7 before international departures.
